Melissa Halfacre
Founder ~ Principal Designer
With over 30 years of experience, Melissa brings a unique blend of technical expertise and artistry to Selah House of Design. Growing up walking job sites with her builder father, she learned to read blueprints long before her design career began. She later ran her family’s construction, plumbing, and electrical businesses, giving her a rare, hands-on understanding of how spaces are built from the inside out.
A lifelong artist, Melissa pairs this practical fluency with outside-the-box creativity to design highly personal, welcoming spaces. At Selah House of Design, Melissa blends construction knowledge and heart to craft environments that truly reflect the people who live and work in them.
